Light refreshments will be provided, and guests can take advantage of free, non-fasting glucose screenings provided by Advocate Sherman Hospital and balance assessments offered by Northwestern Medicine/Delnor. Dr. John Mason, DDS from St. Charles will also provide oral cancer screenings from 9 – 11 a.m. Flu shots will be available by Walgreens Pharmacy to seniors for free with Medicare Part B.
Information will distributed by the Kane County Health Department, state agencies, and local health organizations on a variety of topics, including transportation and assisted living options, home and Internet safety, and financial security—including how to protect yourself from identity theft.
